Monthly subscriptions for ShieldBox are shipped to your address at the address you provided. You may receive emails regarding your account or promotions for special offers, including third party offers. You can cancel your membership anytime without charge by logging into your account or by contacting support@theshieldbox.com.
By purchasing a Monthly Subscription, you acknowledge that your subscription has an initial and recurring payment and you accept responsibility for all recurring charges prior to cancellation. Your subscription will be automatically extended for successive monthly periods and your payment method will automatically be charged for each successive monthly period at the then-current selected subscription rate. Your credit card will be charged on the 15th day of each month and your ShieldBox shipment will be shipped the following month. You will be charged on the credit card you used to create your monthly renewal subscription or as otherwise directed by you. The amount that we charge your credit card depends on the subscription you chose.
To cancel your Monthly Subscription at any time, you must log-in to your account to view active subscriptions, and select the cancel subscription option. If you cancel, you may use your subscription until the end of your then-current subscription term. ShieldBox may submit periodic charges without further authorization from you, until you provide prior notice that you have terminated this authorization or wish to change your payment method. Such notice will not affect charges submitted before ShieldBox reasonably could act.
We do not accept returns or exchanges unless a purchased item is proven to be defective, which must be proven by the customer. If you receive a defective item, please contact us no later than thirty days from your receipt of the defective item, at support@theshieldbox.com with details of the product and the defect, photos, and any other necessary information and we will make best efforts to resolve the issue.
Upon receipt of the returned product, if necessary, we will fully examine it and notify you via e-mail, within a reasonable period of time, whether you are entitled to a replacement as a result of the defect. If you are entitled to a replacement or refund, we will at our election replace the product or refund the purchase price, using the original method of payment.
Refunds do not include any shipping and handling charges shown on the packaging slip or invoice. Shipping charges for all returns must be prepaid and insured by you. You are responsible for any loss or damage to items during shipment. We do not guarantee that we will receive your returned item. Shipping and handling charges are not refundable. Any amounts refunded will not include the cost of shipping.
Any merchandise purchased from our Site will be shipped by a third party carrier. Therefore, all risk of loss and title for the merchandise is passed on to you as soon as we deliver the merchandise to the third party carrier of our choosing. Any and all missing or damaged goods must be reported within 30 days of shipping in order to qualify for a replacement, always subject to product availability. Any and all replacements and refunds will be at the discretion of customer service.
ShieldBox shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages that result from the use of, or the inability to use, the site or materials on or provided through the site, even if ShieldBox has been advised of the possibility of such damages. In no event will ShieldBox's liability to you exceed the amounts that you paid to ShieldBox in connection with your subscription membership. Applicable law may not allow the limitation of exclusion of liability or incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.
In the event a product is listed at an incorrect price or with incorrect information due to typographical error or error in pricing or product information received from our suppliers, ShieldBox shall have the right to refuse or cancel any orders placed for product listed at the incorrect price. ShieldBox shall have the right to refuse or cancel any such orders whether or not the order has been confirmed and your credit card charged. If your credit card has already been charged for the purchase and your order is canceled, ShieldBox shall immediately issue a credit to your credit card account in the amount of the charge.
ShieldBox has no liability for injury or damage caused by products within the monthly subscription boxes or items purchased from the gear store. Such liability is the sole responsibility of the product brand or manufacturer.
These Terms are applicable to you upon your accessing the Site. These Terms, or any part of them, may be modified or terminated by ShieldBox without notice at any time, for any reason. ShieldBox reserves the right to limit discount codes to one per customer in its sole discretion. The provisions relating to Copyrights, Trademark, Disclaimer, Limitation of Liability, Indemnification, and Miscellaneous, shall in all events survive any termination of these Terms and your use of the Site.
Any information provided by ShieldBox regarding the products or otherwise (e.g. product descriptions or instructions) is for informational purposes only. You hereby release ShieldBox, its officers, employees, agents and successors from claims, demands any and all losses, damages, rights, claims, and actions of any kind including, without limitation, personal injuries, death, and property damage, that is either directly or indirectly related to or arises from (i) your use of the Services; or (ii) your purchase of any products. You hereby waive California Civil Code Section 1542, which states: “A general release does not extend to claims which the creditor does not know or suspect to exist in his favor at the time of executing the release, which, if known by him must have materially affected his settlement with the debtor” and you waive any other similar provision of the laws of any other applicable jurisdiction.
